i fished w/ a 10' lami super surf w/ 5000 emblem spinning reel w/ 30 lb p pro for fishing the canal ...it cast great but reel seet was to close to the butt end for me.
so i had 4in add to butt and rerapped. i got it bach yesterday ,mounted reel and put a loaded 2 3/4oz pp on .i went to my pond [johns pond ] and took a few cast.

i like it !!!! rod to reel balance much better ,n i get more out of the combo power wise. e-z 100yrd cast no problem....fished
for 5 min got no hits . but i looked good .
