bald eagle
Here is a picture of a juvenile bald eagle that I took near Hatches Harbor (near Race Point) in late June or early July a few years ago. This was about as close as I dared get to him to get the picture and my camera didn't have great zoom capability. The bird stayed in the area for a few days then I didn't see it again.
The terns weren't to pleased with him and I saw them dive bombing him around Race Point Light a few times.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

about a week ago Katie and I were out walking and a snowy owl flew over our heads. took a bit for what we just saw to register. A good friend had told me he had seen them in the area a few years ago. first one I had ever seen in the wild. Not my pic.

Seeing everyone else has pictures, do you have any Gunpowder? Of the blonde that is.
