Weekend Plans??

Funny how having a day off in the middle of the week messes with the rythym of the work week. Just did not feel like friday!$^*&%

Who's fishing? I (sadly) turned down an offer to go as I have stuff that I must get done. But I also hope to start my rod building for this winter... Now, If I could just watch the Pat's on the computer in the "rod room", I'd be all set

Anyone fishing or doing anything fishing related? What's up for the weekend?

I have so much faith in the Pats, that I'm going to be fishing at kickoff, halftime and will probably hear the tail end of the game on the way home. Doctor tells me I have to fish once per week to survive and he also says them winter fish bite best on warmer days, so it's Sunday for me. The underachievers aren't going to show up this game either.

GS,
I'm going to try for some cod tomorrow out of green harbor, weather.com tells me the winds will be no more than 8mph out of the sw.
I still hope the Pats luck out and get back into the playoffs somehow, I can't miss the last regular season game.
Good Luck on sunday, I'll post how I did.

Fishing on December 27th, Florida ain't got nothing on me. Except for frozen ramps, then nothing.

I can't believe you are are still fishing.
You are hardcore !!!!

All my reels are off for service, and the rods are getting dusty.

But, my snow skiis are down and ready to go for Sunday.

MrMacey, if Don Blizard doesn't return his pm soon then your more than welcome to tag along with me. Never heard from Slip or BM and JohnR has his nose to the grindstone, but I hate to waste an open boat when there are fish to be had. Call me in the office if your online this morning, I've got some paperwork to finish up.

I tried to head out this morning, but when I got to green harbor (9:40am) the ramp was all ice, if I had a shovel and some sand I may have of given it a shot, but I couldn't chance sliding in thewater. The ocean was flat calm, I drove in front of the Fairview before I got to the ramp to look at the water, I was psyched to head out, but I just couldn't chance it.
Moral of the story, an outgoing tide in <32 degrees leaves a sheet of ice on the ramp.
There were quite a few trailers in the lot, and you could see the boats out there, I just hope they get them out of the water ok.

Oh well, the new weekend plans are to take the tree down.

Hello!

Sorry I am late in getting back to you Mr. Macy & GotStripers!

I have been busy since a 6:30 meeting that I had to attend this morning.

Tomorrow will be impossible for me. My wife reminded me of a family gathering we had planned weeks ago.
I figure that I had better keep my priorities in check!

Gotta keep my wife & family happy!

Good Luck Tomorrow!

Are you taking the camera along again this weekend?

If you do, don't post any pics! It will kill me to see what I have missed!

I am having severe withdrawals!...

I will continue to watch the weekend weather forecasts in order to take advantage of any future opportunities to wet some lines!

Mrmacey:

Thanks for the offer, maybe I'll take you up on it sometime.

I hope we have some decent ice soon so I can go "hard-water"
fishing.

Snow skiing was awesome yesterday, and I'm not too sore today !!!!!

I had 2 for 1 coupons at Ragged, so that is where we went
yesterday.

It was not real crowded and the conditions were good, not
excellent though. They have a 6 passenger high speed so
your'e back up top in no time.

I go there alot cause my brother-in-law has a place nearby so we stay for free,,,

I like Waterville valley and Sunday river for BIG mountains.
Never been to the ones you listed.
