Some New Needles

been working on some new needle shapes, I have these little guys around 5.5" long, 1.7 or so oz, mahogany, very slim profile. Hoping for a "slow almost level sink" but they might be a little too heavy, we shall see. paint on the first one is Jigman inspired, followed by my rendition of a sandeel from watching youtube videos, and then a spearing I guess.

Also, since its pretty much impossible to get habs needles anymore, I made a variety of clones, can't wait to cast that 1-footer at the canal this year! Used a few tied tails from Bill Couch (jointed eel) and Big Ed, (black 2oz and eel 2oz) who said they came from a kid in plymouth who ties them. I used some craft feathers for the night n gales as well.
