Need A Rack For The Truck!
Curious if any of you yakkers have a pickup with a rack on top of the bed for carrying your yak? I have an 06' Silverado extended with a 6' bed. Thinking of buying a TracRac rack and mounting wheelies on the rear and a cradle in the front to carry mine....any advice or recommendations?? Thanks in advance!

I'm on my second TracRac, just great for all around uses. Never put a yak on top but I do a canoe, no special brackets necessary.

I have a 6 3/4 bed F250. Even the 14' kayak goes in the back with the tailgate down. Tied at the back, middle, and front. Never had any problems at all. I tie a red shirt around the front of the kayak (which hangs out the back).
