Slowwww 2 days!
It's been brutally slow around here. We worked hard for 2 fish in 3 hours yesterday morning and afternoon. I dropped what felt like a good one yesterday. Today was worse than yesterday. We found the fish easy but they weren't taking anything. Sluggo's, tins, poppers, and plugs and nothing worked. I got one dink on a 4" pearl shad direct tied. Rips were alive with tiny bait and the fish were getting their feed on bigtime. 3 of us managed 3 fish! I'll be back again tomorrow and hopefully they will be more cooperative. No pogies from what we saw either. I did have the tail bit off of one of my shad though. I'll post a few pics from the start of my vacation. Highlight has been getting 3500 oysters to market and getting free beer for one of the deliveries. Anybody seeing a slow down like me? Hopefully it's just an isolated area. I don't wish this on anyone. I would love to see the pogies back!

No and stop teasing me!
I don't own any but will tomorrow. I may not go out on the skiff tomorrow because mine is getting more repair work than I thought it needed. There were probably 1/2 a dozen boats out there and no one was catching much. We ran into my buddies oyster partner and fishing guide and he tossed us a clear speckled sluggo which he said worked for him twice. I didn't get any love from it. He said they were too full and it was going to be tough. I wish i could get out at first light but i can't.

Marshcappa, try a direct tied (to a leader with loop for the teaser) white leadhead 3/4 oz with a plastic skirt and a 4" curlytail. Use a white teaser to start. Also try an olive colored teaser of white doesn't work (better contrast) Should work well with small bait around.
Try a 1/2 oz leadhead if the 3/4 doesn't work.
Were you in the bay?

Not slow where I have been. 2, 25# yesterday. 5, 22# to 27# today. All live lining. Only killed one each day.

Had a decent morning...had to work for them, do some searching but I did manage a few fish....biggest was a fat 34" this am. I am off for the rest of the week so, they better start cooperating.

The fish on the live pogies seem to be sluggish. But seem to take a head near the bottom better than a live one.
