Happy Thanksgiving to all of you also. I have alot to be thankful for this year. Every year I learn more and more and enjoy my wife and children as we go thru life together. Just seeing my kids accomplishments as they grow is very rewarding.
Thanks also to the Striped Bass and to this excellant message board.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, may you all have a very healthy happy turkey day!!!!!! I am thankful for the spectacular and safe season on the water with my fishing partner, friends and all of the great people we met this year. I also thank god every day that my mom, who lives in PA, who had a heart attack last year, is still here with my family and is doing great.
JohnR best wishes to you and your wife on the happy days ahead. You will make a fantastic father and Baitcaster and I wish you all the best. Don't worry once you have that baby, fishing may be in second place, but with all the joys you will have of being a dad, it just won't be as important as it may seem right now.

Happy Thanksgiving EVERYONE!!! May this be the start of a wonderfull Holiday season for all or you, your families, and you friends!!!
We had a few false alarms yesterday but things will be happening REALLY SOON ;D ... I am EXTREMELY EXCITED and a little nervous to be honest about the "bundle of joy and diapers" that we my wife and I will have. Something to be truly thankfull for.
I would also like to thank you guys and gals for coming along and making this site a very friendly place to hang your hat, chat, and meet great people. I am very thankfull to you all for being the great people that you all are!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all--the best part of the day is that we go to my wife's aunt, and also the worst part of the day. Best part is getting together again after a year when we didn't lose anyone, and the fact that we don't have to cook and clean Worst part is 60 miles of bumper-to-bumper traffic, both ways. We leave early and take the kids to a restaurant that has a big arcade for lunch, and beat the worst of the traffic going.
John, best wishes as the big day approaches. God bless you and the missus and your new arrival. Christmas is never going to be the same again, you realize. Just think--as they get older, you get to play with toys again

Ohh, absolutely. I've always loved Christmas, but seeing those little eyes light up... I don't know about the rest of you parents, but I get that feeling again... just like I did when I was young.
That pure look of wonder and excitement. Must be what we would all look like if that 50lber. came calling.
Of course, I had no ornaments or candy canes on the bottom 3 feet of my tree last year... and my train... that will probably end up in the bathtub again.
To me, that's all part of the fun...'cause I know that if I was 3, I'd be doin' it too.
Happy Holidays

I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving, I have a lot to be thankful for.
John, good luck with the baby. Don't worry my 3 year old catches a bluegill and says good thing it's a striper! Plus he wants a new rod and reel for Christmas.
Best wishes everyone
