11 in gibbs pencil...a real mans plug (I use to throw this with a 13.5' surf rod at race point in the late 70's early 80's. (I was much younger then and my body was more fit)

Only if it has a motor on it. LOL!
If the bail flips during a hard cast with that plug...it will see international waters.

If you're going to use that as a template, one thing ya might consider is eliminating the second belly hook and moving the remaining one to just about amidships.
I have a custom edition Hawg about the same size in mackerel scheme. One big-arsed 5/0 VMC 4x treble on a HD 6-1/2 ring.

I concur with MikeP...I think 3 trebles are overkill and detract from the look. I like the more balanced plug like slips pic.
