Man, animal, fish it's all the same. Screwing around with nature whether you side on religous or darwin is NOT for mankind to mess with.

Serious internal dilemma on that. For grins & giggles, no. For saving lives? Most probably. For bringing back the dead, creating super humans, or any other twisted idea - uhuh

I have no problems with developing the ability. How we use it , just like many other inventions , is where the problems are. I see it no diffrent than fertility pills or artificial insemination , etc. Suppose a guy loses his nuts in a car accident/ Cloning would be the only way left. I got no problem with that. However , cloning and growing a human to use as spare parts would be wrong. that's an abuse of the technology . Only time will tell if we are smart enough to use our own inventions wisely.

Let the cloning begin.
Forget the fish... 50,000 of these would be OK.

Matoonoc, you scare me.I think it's inevitable, thanks to the financial rewards possible. But how it's managed will be the stuff of debate for years.Even if it's illegal, there is sure to be a black market cloned nut dude downtown who could hook you up.
But, what I'd really like to see is Bluefish with lobster tails! Oh baby!

I hadn't noticed the yellow thing either.
FWW, I hope you are referring to the fish and not Al.
Since I'm happily married, I wouldn't do a thing. Well, maybe I'd look. Having the world taken over by underwear models couldn't really be a bad thing though.
If we are going to screw with the DNA, lets make herring and menhaden that can chew through nets and eels that won't drown in their own slime.

HOOKED- I am hooked to the idea of cloning 50,00 of those babes. And I liked your ideas of having 50,00 of them. Each of them eill have different personalities. So I would probably make love to them and get my private swollen and drain my lifeforce out in a year.
Mr. Macy-If you think that this would feed this group, then what would happen if we find out those cloned stripers have different flavor? And besides, most of clones last two or three days. And as for the guys who loses his balls in a car accident, they will melt after a few days. And it will leave him a pinochooico, but a deflated elphant trunk-looking when it de-erects.

That is too funny!
My opinion, don't mess with Mother Nature, especially in the wild. A cloned fish in a tank is one thing, but to let those genes out into the general fish population is wrong

scotch bonnie- thank you for your compliments.
matoonoc- what's wrong with putting a cloned striper into the wild sea? if it's to be put into a wild sea, then the ecycolosm would screw up and the seals from the south beahc and monomoy isle, bark, "hey, this fish taste like a bacon. what the hell are we eating? a dolly the sheep with the lung disease? man, that's so sick, we aint no hannibal lector. let's get the hell outta here. lets find some mackerals at the big ditch. *honk* honk*"
