Cold on Saturday AM
Had a fun time anyway. Beer would freeze in less than a minute. Thank God for schnapps. This fish put up a pretty good fight and was pushing 8#.

A nice shot of some early morning Holyoke pollution from a week ago. Kind of beautiful in a weird way.

The second pic is from the Oxbow a few weeks ago. It was popping there for a bit but slowed down quickly. I had numerous smaller pike and saw a few big bowfin get pulled out (weird looking fish). The first pic is from out in Lee. It was pretty slow that day there too.

Bowfin!? No fooling. I haven't seen one of those in over 40 years. Mean prehistoric looking thing.
Nice Pike BTW!

I left my tape in the sled about 50 yards away. So I got a quick weight and back in she went. I'd say easily over 30" though (or at least around there).
