Osterville Area

If anyone is going to be around the Osterville area tomorrow afternoon let me know if you want to meet up. I will have a few hours in the afternoon to do some shore fishing. Say 1-4ish.

Zip..Nada...Nothing

I actually ho'd a ride today from a client that has a 23' Sportcraft or something like that in Oyster Harbor. Sweet ride and we were flying out in the sound at over 40mph with it's 250hp 4stroke Yamaha. We were loaded for bear and he had a dozen spots marked on gps that had nothing! No birds, pretty good stiff wind from the south and a mixing bowl of 4-5ft seas and in some areas bigger. This guy's wife is a guide and owns a B&T shop in Hyannis. Cool people and very generous. I like working with them over the years and he was so apologetic about not getting on fish. He was blasting through the waves with ease. Fun ride in area I never fish.

pay no ttention to this. My 5 year old is wathcing me post this and liked the little drunk guys and the hammer dude

It's very hit or miss on the south side at this time of year. There are usually some small blues and albies around, but the stripers are harder to find .
Is the wife of the guy that took you out named Karen?

If we're talking about the same place, I stopped in once early in the year to pick up some bait and there was a young guy working. Other than that, I haven't been there in a couple years.

This photo was taken on 9/17 when they were thick in the sound. As usual I was late to the party. This is the guy that took me out. Cool looking fish for sure. Someday maybe.
