Its not lying- Its fishermans talk - sometimes its true but most times our lips are moving, its with 'questionable accuracy'. Thats part of our game, part of our sport - always has been I suppose. I've held onto info and I've exaggerated too.... so shoot me- I'm a fisherman!

But those big fish were there - back then-- just would not bite - maybe they WERE keyed in on tiny stuff, because they had no interest in stuff I used & saw used.

Smaller fish were hooked- but the large specimens had lock jaw. Just cruising close to shore in little wolf packs.

Now that several weeks have past I'll back up the mans story now that time has passed (and I dont know him personally - only from posts) without fear of causing the dreaded "CC Canal parking spot burn".

Maybe he can give more details, including pole numbers, drift length, colors and such.
