Info. and thanks for Habs Memorial Tournament

Hey Guys and Ladies

I just wanted to to thank everyone for making this year's Hab's for Hasbro Fishing Tournament on Columbus Day weekend such a great success. Once again so many people turned out for a good time and a good cause. We made a grand total of $2,125.00 including addition money that was just recently sent in to add to the total. That is so amazing with how bad the economy is that people still gave so generously.

As you know it all goes to a wonderful cause THE TOMMORROW FUND at Hasbro Children's Hospital. I know my dad is smling down and saying "Thats niccceeeee !!!" He did love making kids happy.

There is a long list of people I want to thank. First of all Point Jude Joe A BIG thank you for organizing and running the tournament. Thanks again to Jeff Martins for making the trophies.

Thanks to M & Ds Bait and Tackle, Saltwater Edge, Quaker Lane and Quanny Bait and Tackle for generously donating their time to be sign up and weight in spots. AND for their generous donations to the raffle.

Thanks to Coddington Brew House in Newport for their generous use of their restaurant for the presentation of trophies and raffle. Everyone always has a great time their and the food is awesome.

Thanks to Modern Printing for once again donating the tickets.

Thanks to all who donated their goods to the raffle. Van Staal, Aquaskinz, Donnelly Chocolates, Iron Mike for 2 original HAB's Senior's lures, Chuck Vietry for his print of Gamefish of NE.

To all the plug donations from Lure Makers: a big thank you. Point Jude Lures, Big Fish, Tatoo's Tackle, Surf Asylum, After Hours. If I missed anyone PLEASE LET ME KNOW. We tried very hard to make sure we wrote down every donation but it got very hectic and we might have missed someone in in all the craziness.

Thanks to John's sister Michelle and her husband Wayne for donation of a $100 gift certificate.

ONCE AND THANKS TO ALL FOR EVERYTHING.

HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING

your pal,
John Jr
