Sharpening saw blades

Anyone send their blades out to get resharpened? I never have, but with the cost of quality blades these days, I might look into it.... Is it worth it? Usually just replace them. Any feedback as to cost, place to go to on Northshore?

Woodcraft in Woburn has a resharpening service. If they are top quality blades they can be re-sharpened 3X ... the last time I had one done was 2+ yrs ago... i think it was ~30 much cheaper than a new blade and it is as good as new again...

We used to use these guys to sharpen all our cutters and blades. They make nice custom knives for the shaper.

I found this guy on the web. I have not tried him yet but I may give him a shot on some table saw blades. His prices are reasonable but I have to check out the shipping?

Beaver Woodworking in Brockton offers the sharpening service.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.
