Cat Question?
We have a diabetic cat. Seemingly happy and healthy in all respects otherwise, good appetite etc. Lately he has been ejecting fur (shedding) like I have never seen before?? And its January???? Cats shed this time of year or could he be ill??? Any thoughts would be appreciated before we bring him to the vet and spend money we don't have on a possibly needless visit??
Thanks!

Larry might want to check pet md online, type in the all the info and see what it tells you before going to a vet.
It's a pretty hand tool, found a lot of good info when trying to determine if my dog had allergies.
I love cats, I just can't eat a whole one myself.

Is he shedding or are there bare patches on him? If bare patches...I'd take him to the doc. If just shedding wouldn't worry yet. Especially if he is still the same cat otherwise

Sorry Larry, but castration doesn't take the penis......you just won't have Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.
