I'm pretty sure because he played in a handful of games this year they would have had to give him one.
The guys on weei even said so on the air this week.

You are correct, he would have even been part if the pay out. That vote is given by the players

When we are here you just don't give us credit for being here and taking our lumps and giving credit where credit is due. Unhappy our team lost but congratulatory to those whose team won!

Right on Bruce... it would have been nice to see the loudmouths eat some humble pie... but you can spout off if you back it up.. and the JETS did just that.. game wasn't as close as the score... IMHO.. it felt more like a 45-3 blow out..instead of a 7 point loss...
I hate the Steelers almost as much as I hate the JETS... no more football for me this season... Time to ice fish...make plugs and get ready for summer...
Congrats to the JETS on a second straight showing in the title game...

Pat's fan here. Back from the game. We got beat. The Jets beat us in all phases of the game.
I will not root for Pittsburgh or the Jets or Green Bay or Chicago (both NFC teams the Pats owe for previous Super Bowl losses--what could have been).
It seems clear to me the Pats were not right/normal. Welker broke the team line of keeping their mouths shut. Things were not right all week. They were obviously lost on the sidelines. Something was wrong...but still, the Jets clearly outplayed us. They surely beat us and they can still go #^&#^&#^&#^& themselves.

Patrick,
You must be joking with that one !
Maybe the one against Green Bay they had a shot to win (especially if they had the brains to not kick or punt to Desmon Howard !
But in 85 against the Bears, that wasn't even a game.
The Bears killed them and the Pats had no shot in that one !

If the Steelers crush the Jets and if the Packers crush the Steelers, then all will be correct again in the Universe.
