Wow nice fish Roy.

Do they breed this time of year?? Those fish are fatties.

I love white perch, a great tasting fish. I have recipe where it makes the meat taste like cocktail shrimp yummy.

Thanks guys!!!............State record is 2lb 12oz and I'm 100% positive that there is yellows bigger then that in MA. The yellows spawn right after ice out so this is when they begin to put on the weight. By march these fish will be there heaviest and can even weigh another 2oz come then. I had a ton of bass today both smallies and largies and some big Pickeral, But I love catching these big yellows the most I think. The colors are just so cool and they are native.

I cut a couple of small ones with fat guts like that to use for pike bait and the bellies were stuffed with eggs. Those egg sacks are nice to bust open and drop in your hole for chum.

I gotta hit the lottery....this working chit is getting old.

Nice Fish, actually a nice day to be out...I like when there's a light snow falling when you're on the ice.....just has that old School feel to it

Thanks guys..................yesterday with the front was just perfect for targeting anything big.

Raven, its a ice armor suit. They are nice this is the lighter suit which is enough suit for NE weather I think. They make a gray one which is even hotter.

Hahahaha Dave...........those came from your neighborhood. lol

Roy,

Did you buy a house with no basement mancave for doing winter projects like rodbuilding, plug making, rubber/lead pouring? You just never take a breather do ya.......nice fish
