		 Salty:
Nice fly! Can it be tied to look like a small peanut bunker? Does the yak hair come in the right colors? If so, I'll be in to pick some up. Tight lines and "GET YOUR BACKING WET" from the Kid. PS. Got the storm shutters off the cottage waiting for the weather to WARM UP so I can turn on the water.

				Hey Salty

When your fishing a fly that has a circle hook do you fish it any diffrently? I'd think that instead of setting the hook with the rod, you just let the fish run and set the hook on itself. (Just like when using spinning)
Have you been gut-hooking alot of fish on the fly? I've found that with a fly, I almost always hook 'em in the mouth.

		 Salty:
I guess I will have to share that big flat one at the end of the jetty with you. I don't smoke so that cigar may come in handy when those gnats show up. I'll try to get to the shop before 4:00pm some time this week to pick up the tying stuff. When will winter end this year? I shouldn't have taken those shutters off the cottage! After that weekend winter came back. I must have upset the striper GOD for trying to start the season to early. I'll be down the creek next weekend to bring down the grill. Hope you can show up some time this season at the cottage and will get some use out it. Tight lines The KID.

YOUNG SALT, I DON'T SET THE HOOK W/ THE ROD! NOT the thing to do. as far as GUT hooked NO! stripers always take the flys an RUN when this is done the USUALY SET the HOOK them selfs. even w/ regular hooks when they TURN an you tug on the LINE the hook should set you MUST ALWAYS have (SHARP HOOKS.)
