Chum cage

Picked one up at local BoatShop. 5"x2"x2" Going to snap it onto bottom of sabiki, filled with cat food. Anyone used one?

Got one haven't used, yet. I tie bags chum off the back of the boat....not right to a Sabiki. I've tried cat food, too, might have worked?

They are meant to be used with ground up clams, mussels or baitfish. You may have to duct tape part of it to get the flow you want. Most guys use stuff that is frozen so it pays out slower than unfrozen stuff. Even then sometime you have to tape it.

The cat food was not put in the cage, just spread on surface to create small slick.
