Brought back to reality.

Went fishing this morning. A kid saw me on the rocks gettin a couple 24 to 30 in stripers. He grabbed a rod from the porch where he was staying and came out and started casting. 1st cast a 41 incher.I landed a 22 incher. His next cast a 37 incher. Mine a 26. His next cast he had a great hit and missed it.This went on for a half hr more. I never broke 30 in. He landed 5 fish over 36 in and 2 over 40.Funny part is he was using one of my plugs he'd gotten for a present from his uncle.Same damn plug I was using LOL.If the fish gods are in your corner it's gonna be a good day.Talk about gettin taken back to school.

Ron, I'm sure you got just as much, if not more pleasure seeing him catch on one of your plugs as you would have if you were doing the catching. I know I would have been thrilled.

Ron. You know what questions the gang will be asking you at Tri-State Maine. Which plug??? Which rocks??? You can tell me though. I can keep a secret. I'm not like the others.

How big was the kid? Just wondering if it was the Iron Mike effect?

Go figure, it just happens.
Great seeing a kid catching fish like that on one
of your plugs.

The kid was about 13 or so. He was fishing where there is a bit of a hole between 2 house sized submerged boulders.
