SWC,SEC, Peaked Hill tomorrow
Anyone heading out tomorrow? I was thinking about it and weather should cooperate nicely (currently). I haven't seen/heard many reports though this week so maybe I should save the gas? Let me know who else may be making the trip. Knowing who else is out there has taken on more of a priority to me after last weeks events!

Sounds good Goose. I am leaving Plymouth around 4:45am. Have heard good things about swc as well as fishing ledge so not sure which direction I will head. If I find fish I will let you know. I go by boat name willie boy or elmo.

Nice fish Mike! I think Moses was talking about me. We went 0 for 1 on the SEC. Headed for the fishing ledge first based on reports but it was a bust so didin't get to SEC till later am. Started seeing breaking tuna between race and SEC but did not hook any after chasing a little while. Worked our way to SEC and appears that is where we should have been all along. Greatest number of whales I think I have ever seen at one time and swimming very close to boats.
We immediately started hooking large bass 40+ inches, dogfish and also the one tuna. Jeremy only had him on about 3 minutes and then off. Just an awesome morning to be on the water. When I came in, I drop off buddies and picked up family and relatives and hit browns bank for another 7 hours. Great day, tuna or not.

We were just fishing ronz' off the bottom. Didn't do any trolling and did not have live bait. Plenty of sand eels out there, will they hit a small sibiki? Could probably even snag them on a sibiki I am guessing when they are that thick.

I did it the other way around and caught up to them late morning. talk about it being glass. With that many whales what are the chances they open whaling again
