ENJOY!!!!!

ITs finally that time ========too enjoy
yesterday as I waiting for my sister & wife ti return from the emergency room, I let the dogs out while doing so it was nice & on the spur of the moment I was laying on my back enjoying the warmth of the grass & watching the cloud formations, great feeling & its free//
last night i had some schoolies hitting so I stopped to call a FRIEND from the board ,,he got there on his second cast caught a fish and in quick order had more hits =quickly he told & gave me what he was using, =we,ll well waiting for the drop because this spot is great at that tide =We,ll last nite they didn,t really show up like usually=========it didn,t matter , I sat down watch my friend fish ,looked at the stars enjoyed his company & got outfished=======it was great
THe night before I got a PM from a nother friend stating he was smokin the bass on herring, also telling when, were, and how, Thankyou Buddy , but I didn,t go , the time will come that I,ll chase herring in order to chase larger fish, but not last night
Thank GOd , I no longer have that commercial fisherman disease that was consumed my life[ not to say I won,t sell fish this season] I may < but proably Scup, Flounder, ETc , I never want that Striper Dollar Disease again////
to each their own , but stop and enjoy what you have, & the blessings you enjoy verses the crosses and pain we all carry////////////////
, I really enjoy fishing , and the friends I,ve made since joining this board, never mind the knowledge, new spots & ways//
fishing ==enjoy it ==don,t take the fun out of it==its that time & place where we can enjoy our passion and for a little while possibly forget around world, family, and our own personal problems ///////
Just don,t take fishing for granted & try to ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE////////////////////////////

ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!

Amen - Mikul

..I was out there last night too, with a few board members...fishing Live, no runs/bumps/taps....just free-swimming herring. Did see a guy manage a striped one- no braggin' rights for him though - It was a great night, met a board member for the first time -(Canalman)-...didn't get yer reel name but nice to meet ya, and nice plug *** also ran into redcrbbr and Amy ..* I think Amy was dying to get away from the circus that had showed up...at least Bob was ...Anyway, the night got later, the yahOle's went home and still no fish....but I just enjoyed being out there, watching the stars shoot one after the other, smelling the ocean scentz mixed with the body odor of the herring ...watched a guy fall into the run, slam dunk...right down to his skivvies.. ..it was, at the least;...entertaining.

God Bless the true-hearted who can truly enjoy what they have, and arent' afraid to look around appreciate the life they've been granted...fish or no fish, life's too short.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

Good to hear that. After spending all Saturday outside I was thinking about fishing with clamdigger, conditions just felt right.

Had a great weekend in spite of not S-B fishing, 6 year old son caught his first LMB on an artificial and is hooked , 4 year old son just wanted to fish all weekend...

Good words Bloo...

MarT - we are all concerned about the spill - we've been following it closely since it happened
