Free 7" Bench Grinder with Stand
I was given a nice 1960s era Craftsman 7" Grinder with a metal stand few weeks ago. I already have 2 bench grinders that are set up for all my lathe tools and have decided to give it away since I do not have space for another grinder in my shop.
The grinder is located in Lexington (MA) and is free to the first person responds and can pick it up in the next week. It comes with 2 like new coarse dark grey grinding wheels... new 7" white grinding wheels are available from Packard Woodworks ... I recommend the Norton 3x 80 grit 7" x1" wheels for this grinder to sharpen
quality lathe tools
Packard Woodworks: The Woodturner's Source: Norton 3X SG Grinding Wheels
Send me a PM if you want this... it runs great and is a US made tool

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

i watched a video of how to sharpen a scythe with an anvil and a hammer
and how the draw out the blade and take out the dings
grinders are the balls but they only remove material rather than reshape it .
after watching the video i now understand why the blacksmith's hammer is always banging away....

I cleaned it up for Slip this morning... it is a great grinder... Craftsman Commercial... it was bought as a rebuilt from Sears for $59.95 sometime in the 60s. Runs nice and smooth. Even has a nice working light.
The banana curse is sooo over... doing a good deed like not charging for this fine american iron helps but the curse behind me... and i did catch a keeper fish my last tome out with youse guys...
But how am I going to justify a new ZeeBass reel to the wifey????
Q1 Commission check?

Since he brought a banana on a tuna trip, I would say this curse is lifted when he catches a tuna......
