Cameron's first fish
I decided to take the little guy and his mom fishing yesterday afternoon. It was so relaxing to just get back to the basics, a bobber and a nightcrawler.
He hooked up and while I held the pole for him, he did all the reeling and landed his first fish! He asked me what it was and I told him it was a sunfish.
The best part was as I tucked him in last night, he told me he was going to dream of catching more "sunflower" fish. I remember my first fish was a perch about 3 inches long, and he's already got me beat at 3!
What a great day all in all.

Nice looking place to catch your kid his first. Most of my sunflower holes are full of poison eye and pond scum muck. Great pics and beginning of memories that will follow him the rest of his life.

Make sure you save all fish pics. He'll be looking for them when he is older.

Enjoy the memories, they grow up so fast. Then you rekindle those memories with grandchildren.
