Fishing related gifts

Was wondering how Santa treated the rest of the gang.

I didn't ask for much, but the wife and son snuck a bomber and a pencil into my stocking. The real surprising thing was that they got me a subscription to Tacklegrab, I unwrapped the box and found a nice RM Smith metal lip swimmer, and a few got stryper baits. It'll be interesting to see what else arrives by mail in the next box.

60 % of the time, it works every time.

Got gift cards to my 2 favorite shops, M&D's and SWE. Some awesome polarized Hobie sunglasses and cold weather fishing gloves. Plus a couple of Yozuris, and a spool of PowerPro.

Made out like a bandit.

I got no fishing related gifts. I got a pair of NB sneakers. Apparently I was naughty and it was fishing related naughtiness. :-(.....

I also apparently need to exercise more often

I got a door mat that states "A fisherman lives here....with his greatest catch" and I bought myself....uh, I mean Santa got me a Rebel Minnow, some Panther Martin swim shads and a Yo Zuri Crystal Minnow....no saltwater fly rod like I wanted, but I did inherit a nice wide brim hat from my Grandpa that passed this year that will be awesome for the few times I make it out fishing when there's actually daylight!

Sauerkraut gave me a gift certificate for a surf blank at CMS.

I gave him a used handle for a 706 I had laying around in the basement.

Seems fair to me

Coffee mug with pictures of my kids and I over the summer, all fishing / clamming / outdoor related activities - and my wife also snuck my avatar picture on there as she knows I am proud of that morning. Also my son's (4 and 2) picked out plugs for me from #^&#^&#^&#^&s, a Tsunami Polaris and a Striper Swiper both Mackerel as they think it looks cool. Overall a great Christmas, was all about the kids as it should be.

I bought myself a legend blank for Christmas, but didn't get too much in the way of fishing presents. I guess everyone thinks I have too much as is. I did get some cash which I am sure will go toward a fishing purchase, and my girlfriend said she'd buy me a plug lol

Read half of hooked last night & now I'm ready to give John Paul a call to find out his 2013 schedule.... but at the same time, I also can't wait to get on the ice for pike.
