Weekend Striped-Bass Discount
Hey to encourage visits and to kill time, I'm offering a 20% discount on all stock rubber (not hooks/jigs) this weekend at my yard sale, just to get anyone to show up and kill time. Hours are 8-3 on Sat/Sun and it's 415 South St. in Halifax, MA. Directions from RT3 south or north, take the RT106 exit, travel west approximately 10 minutes into Halifax and through the center of town, look for a Mobile gas station on your left, take that left on to Carver (turns into South) St. and I'm 6/10 of a mile on the left.
From RT24 you can either take RT106 or RT104 until it intersects RT106, either case it's still a 10 minute drive into Halifax and again you looking for the Mobile Station and you would be taking a right on to Carver St. ID yourself with the secret SB handshake and you get 20% off.

A couple members stopped by to say hello and take advantage of the savings, but the hightlight of the day was a guy that spent 15 minutes trying to talk me down from $10 to $8 on an old ugly stick blank. Not that the $2 made a difference, but I was already giving it away at $10 and he left in a huff, only to return about 45 minutes later driving his 18 wheeler . Stopped across the street thankfully, jumps out and runs across the street with his $10 and grabs the rod and leaves.
Hopefully this rain is out of here tonight, I'm so sick of rain I could scream. Hit the canal for a couple hours tonight before it got bad, picked up 4 fish jigging the east end, nothing big although one might have been on the edge of keeping. If anyones in the area tomorrow swing by and say hi.
