Lamiman at best is trolling and unless anyone can vouch for him as a stand up person is gone.

I am certain they are great rods but are they worth the $? I am more than happy to spend so long as I know the value is there.

I have personally witnessed you snap not one, but two Lamis on lame casts. Then attempt to land 20# fish on a f/w squidding rod. You almost landed one though.

Last thing I want to do is give kudos to my compatition but I felt the first run of Infinity's and know many casted them at MTK. The thought was to slow in action and needed more ass.
Saw Josh Cooper at the rod show and looked over and talked about his redesign of these plus the 1pc versions and he did a very nice job on these. They are very impressive. I can't lie!!

I am a lami man too but if you remember the 1084,that earned a well deserved reputation for breakage also. And lami took some well deserved heat for their reluctance to stand by their product.

I had talked to Todd V at Lami. I told him we needed a 1 to 4 oz rod like the 1083 and told him to call it a 1084. I forgot what winter it was. Anyway He sent me the prototype when may came about I was ch#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g 3 oz lures and had snapped the rod at the 2nd guide from the top. told him about this and I remember posting it also.
Been out of the loop and don't know if they worked on the upper blank wall of the rod to fix this, I lost interest after they stuck rons name on it he's a good guy anyway but it makes sense form a business standpoint anyway I love lami that's what I use along with a few other rod mfg. like rain shadow and my break away, my god that thing is a beast in the ditch 40 lb. bass are a joke to land with it.
I guess all mgs have the same problems some need to open there eyes.
what I do know is If your popular co.s will come to you with gear to use and test and then they push it sometimes with out not lisening to wtf you have to say about whats wrong.. I know this 1st hand from being very popular at one time.
Some lisen some don't.........
bottom line is , If you like something use it and #^&#^&#^&#^& what the internet heros say.............

I've used a 1084 for about 6-7 years and haven't had any problems with it. Prob. use it 30 - 40 times each spring.
maybe luckY

You should try fishing with it.

Lol, is that your way of trying to continue to perpetuate the myth that there are no fish in CT?

Every day I check my PMs hoping Fishbones has sent me a message inviting me to catch some fish at the canal. Every day, I walk away sad b/c there is no invite. 783 days and counting.

The Ron Arra 108 myth... IMO not a defect in the blank but the crap guide layout used. 4 guides on that blank was not enough. They changed to 5 and the problem seemed to go away. The other thing is guys snap cast too much this puts stress on a rod blank. Between the two things they broke.

I would say with the NGC layout this would lessen the breakage? Distributing the load in the suspect area.
