Unhappy Dead Night Down The Backside Last Night

First night of the year out slingin' eels on the backside at a few different beaches.....13 hours out fishing and nada, zero, doughnuts, bupkus, zip, zilch, skunked except for one rat that hit a pencil popper as the sun dropped. Can't say my buddy Joe and I did'nt give it our best. All the conditions were perfect but there were hords of seals moving past, five or six at a time, I believe they were spooking the fish. Seemed to be the general opinion as we ran across at least 20 other slingers and not even one bump between all of us. I did however get to bump into Slingah.....How did you hitem' Slingah after we bumped into you and your buddy?Good seeing you again though...I am sure we will run into each other quite a bit this season, let's hope it's a good one. Anybody else fishing the backside of the Cape last night?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Unhappy

Smart move BassMaster, right now days seem to be pretty good down there and spotty at night. Do you think the seals had anything to do with keeping the fish away? Maybe the shift in the wind?
