Need a beach to fish from??

Ok guys I know you guys don't like spot burning, but I need a place to be able to fish. I have been on a boat for the last 20 years and don't kno0w anything but the canal. But I can't fish it now with my health.
I don't care if all I get all day are Blues, just something to play with, that I can get to with out much walking or climbing. I have 0 $$ to waist on gear and gas going to a far off place so my 9' Daiwa rod, and Penn 650 SS will have to do. its loaded with 40 or 50 pound power pro. I have a few plugs not sure anything good, but some. I am in Carver now so any were in or near me is best, so I don't have to go far.

I am having surgery 7/12 to put a port in my arm so I can start Dialysis in Aug. My Anemia is so bad that there are days I can't even get up! I am getting injections to help it and they say after 3 shots I should start seeing a difference?? I have had 2 so far. They no want to give me blood cause to much blood will change my DNA for a transplant, so I just have to grin and bare it!

Ok Thanks Guys, Good Luck this year and stay safe!!

Joe

Plug Scusset at night. Always atleast some little fish or blues around this time of the year. Usually nobody there. And always that chance of some bait and decent fish.

Sorry about your health...hope there is a cure for ya

yes it is hard once ya give up the boat due to health...recently sold mine because of health....whats even harder is when ya know a lot of good shore spots and you can not walk a hundred yds. to fish em.

Wishing you the best.

You are close to Plymouth, there are a few beaches there
I know South Cape beach is a long drive and probably more money in gas than you want to spend, but Frank is right, park and fish easy.

Maybe try near the canal, behind where Horizons used to be or Scussett

I hope your health gets better real quick

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I know it is wall to wall sometimes but what about the fishing peer on the Canal by Scusset?

Onset beach is usually good as long as you do it at night because it does get packed with people during the daytime.

Thanks everyone!! They all sound like great spots!

I forgot about the Narrows

I was at the fish peer by Scusset a couple of times, once it was a bad day for me, i casted about five times and was done. Then I went back about 2 weeks later and casted for about 1 hour on and off I was feeling very down when I got there but was a happy clam when I left! Never even got a bite but it felt good!

Man I tell ya this sucks! To think what I was doing and spending just 2 years ago!!
Thanks again
Joe!!
