Gooseberry Boat Ramp
Anyone have experience or knowledge with launching a smallish boat from there. I know there isn't a dock but that isn't a concern.

Sketchy locals too.
Gooseberry is where some fisherman was attacked a few years ago.

I have launched my kayak from there many times and do know about those rocks.
There is a small area for vehicles with trailers, mostly used by jet skiers as Goose said, and a lot of catamaran sailboats.
Still, I've never seen any boats similar to ours launched there, though I've been told its do-able.

They caught those scumbags who were from Brocton shorly thereafter.
The locals are not a problem and it is a fairly peaceful and safe place.

I have launched my tin boat from that ramp several times over the years, mostly in the fall during uncrowded periods. Not sure what it would be like during the peak of summer. Worked good. Have launched at a lot worse places.

We used to launch a 16 foot fiberglass with no issues.
