S-B Year Long Tourney YOUTH award!

For our anglers under 18 - the top member angler under the age of 18 that weighs / releases the biggest fish from shore will win a schweet prize - A CUSTOM BUILT 8' Graphite Spinning Rod!

2nd & 3rd place will also win prizes! Just use the Tourney slips mentioned elsewhere ...

If you turn 18 AFTER the fish is entered during this tourney, yes you still qualify on fish caught before 18. The only minimum size requirement is a legal keeper sized fish.

So does that mean I need to get the twins signed on as members, or does a member's child qualify? (Christian looks to be the oddsmaker's pick here!) Not that I think I could convince either of my 10 year olds to release their first keepers......

Just posing the question for arguments sake.

Great idea to promote the future of sportfishing for the striped bass!!!!!

Van it was kinda meant for the kids on the board, the ones who know how to behave Cn you get your son to register, and make some posts, he can ask some questions or something. Also it's not concretew, but this is probably be shore caught fish only, to keep in line with the other tournament. All final descisions are with John though, so we can check with him.

I'm finally close to getting a "Teens Board" running here and that will be included - get your kid a login name when that starts running as technically we no longer allow under 18 to register here at the main board. Although I will allow a current member to have a son/daughter, grandson/granddaughter sign up

so basically same rules as the regular year long tourney? except for length which is now keeper size for youth toruney
is the winner determined by length or wieght? also do we need to fill in a slip?

Yes you need to fill in a slip, just go get one done at Sportsmans Den. The bar for 1st place is set pretty high with Katies fish, so use your best judgement on what size you take. There will be a first and second place prize for sure. Possibly a third place as well. Van and Ross I guess the kids are in according to what John posted. Now get em fishing.
