5\0 I have the IMX (IMX 1264-2S SUR) 10'6" rated 1/2 - 3 oz I have issues with the EYE's have had a crack in the top eye which was an easy fix and the 2nd eye down which I had to physically remove one night so I could fish .. I have a older legend and never had the issue .. and i dont beat my stuff up..
I love the action and the bend of the rod but I am disappointed overall seeing what I paid! I had higher expectations, not to hijack your post but If interested I been wanting to to move the one I have for cheap PM if interested

This all boils down to a warranty,I had a 1267C Surf Series it broke 10" from the top, I sent it back with a letter and receipt, they called yesterday and told me that they don't make a conventional surf rods any more...
I bought this rod 12 years ago,yes 12 years.
They offered to ship me a comparable model (1325S) or a credit of $330,it was a no brainer not to take the replacement.
I was thinking about stripping the eyes off and have it re warped over the winter for conventional.
A lot of the guys I fish with love to bust my balls because that old rod was like a telephone pole,it was versatile, it was great for jigging, plugs and drifting eels...well only decent sized eels.
But most of all it gave me mojo and grew attached to it.I would like to stay with Loomis, not to mention there warranty is in matched.
This is why I started this thread, and like to hear more feed back on this model.

Love the rod. Have 2 of them;one as a back up. Very nice to have a 11' rod that is as light weight as these. For 1 1/2 to 2 1/2oz poppers it is a fantastic rod in my opinion !!!

This one is rated for 3/4-5 oz. Moderate/fast action I bet the sweet spot is around 3-3 1/2.
I should have it by the end of the week.
