Big Blue
My son woke me up at 5AM Sat (after fishing the night before) to go fish chunks off the beach. He is really getting the fishing big which is awesome. Nothing after 3 hours except some crabs, one of which did get my finger pretty good to his amusement. Well we finally get one hit, one fish. Check it out - tough picture because I had to help him hold it and use my phone in the other hand. This was the largest blue I ever caught - 16 lbs! It made for a great story I will never forget.

Great fish and a better story.
You'd don't see enough kids out fishing anymore with their parents, so applause to you.

Great story. Nice gator blue.

1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN.
I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock.
2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.

The only thing missing from that story is your son getting his first experience of a monster blue throwing up all over the place
That head is massive!
