That's cool, love seeing the beaches of old. Casting metallips with conventional? The old timers can have that, I'll baitfish with them, but that's it.

Yeah ... it's a great clip ... although the fish off Cutty seemed more accurate to size than those hauled up off South Shore of LI.
As a kid, we used to rent films from the Evinrude Library - the company used to send out films (reel-to-reel) and my dad either had a projector or rented it and we'd watch every one that Evinrude would send ... loved them ... this film reminds me of that.

Seen it a million times its a classic! Think the fish are waving to the guy with the binoculars??? "Fishing the dawn to midnight shift"???? That last fish was about 30 pounds shy of 45! LOL!!

very cool video, my mother has some super 8 films of my Dad and my uncles fishing in the 50's and 60's. I should set that up to show my son. Thanks for posting Paul.
