Weekend Plans
What's up for the weekend?
Work, Kid has State Robotics Competition.
Something about a Football Game on Sunday
MLK day off (Great man, did wondrous work, still think I would rather see Veterans day honored as a state holiday rather than MLK day).
So what's up for the weekend?

Kind of a goofy weekend with the game at 6:30 PM. Probably something with my wife before.
Nothing planned for Saturday but that will undoubtedly change when she finds out

Transferred my mom to a memory care assisted unit on Tuesday.... Since then, my siblings and I have been sorting, packing, throwing, dividing, storing items from her 89 years. Sucks. And tiring. Carloads taken to Goodwill. Should be finished by Sunday, if not tomorrow. Makes me want to simplify my life and do a major purge this spring.

Ross, that does suck, sorry to hear that. Sounds like she's had a long life at 89. Hopefully they can give her the best care possible.
John, good luck to Liam and I hope he has fun with the robotics
not much plans for me, work and tailgating Sunday before the game, maybe I should wear waders

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Sorry to hear that as well Ross. At least their are others in the family to help. I purge on a regular basis. If I don't Bev will suggest from time to time. About ten years ago I filled a 20 yard container. Don't know where it came from. Stay warm.

Had a little game dinner with some friends last night. Hanging by the wood stove this morning with the two dogs at my feet. First time in months I have had some quiet time. Going to cut more wood for next year later while the boy shoots his new toy. Dinner date tonight and work tomorrow....hope to get the game in too.

Tough thing to go through Ross, having siblings must be helpful.
Im hanging out at the hospital with my wife who just had her knee replaced on Thursday. She's pretty tough but the pain really got to her last night.

Tuning up a Jigmaster 506 with mags, continuing to clean up my cellar, get rid of stuff I don't need or want, looking to take a walk out doors, maybe ride to the B-way and test the reel, listing stuff I don't use on the sites and auction, hanging a photo my daughter took of me at FPR, shaking off Thursday's dose of steroids, keeping my head in this beautifiul day here where I live in SoCo, RI, enjoying the view of East Beach a couple of miles to my southwest, booking a flight for me and my daughter to Santa Monica to see my sons and her brothers on my birthday in early March... cooking some salmon and sweet potatoes in case my gal comes by for dinner, other than that, not much.... My life is good.

My weekend from hell is still going... We hit greatwolf lodge (fitchburg MA) in november and had a blast... Went back this weekend with my wife and 5 and 4 year old boys and had a different kind of blast. We all got violently ill vomiting and diarreah i have never experienced in my 38 years. The management actually called emt's because i was so dehydrated. The worst feeling was not being able to crawl across the room to help my kids... It was a mess. My guess is norovirus ( cruise ship type virus) .
We loved the place the first time, but i am all set with hot humid pubic indoor water parks full of toddlers ... I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy... Well, maybe
