yes
Mon and Thurs open days

boat permit 15 fish
boat permit more expensive
register anything you can, get boat permit and fish from shore, 15 fish

Not all that bad today, not like the Chatham zoo a couple years back. Fish where spread out.
Tough to take watching guys gafing fish that weren't even close to market fish.
Circle hooks work, I can't imagine how many fish are out there swimming around with a hook in their throat or gut.

I've heard tales of people losing half their income because they forget a lip gripper.

NY & Conn have a no gaff law ............ I only use a gaff to get the lines off that are wrapped on my prop or lobster pot & snail buoys .

I wish RI would pass the same law ......... I was watching two boats the other day with long hand gaffs trying to gaff green fish , a true fluster cluck , & also watch them gaff commercial shorts & then throw them back over & these arn,t rookies

ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!

There R those that just gaff stripers anyplace on the fish body....big fish do not jump around wildly they R sluggish...U can gaff as not to hurt them.....PATIENCE....LOL

People gaff the hell out of bluefish when there is no need to being afraid of being bit brings on the needless gaffing....just grab them with your hand....

If I saw someone gaff a fish and throw it back I'd threaten to shove the gaff up their ass the next time. Losers. When it comes to greed people can be awfully short sighted.

If you can't tell the difference that is pretty bad. Just grab the thing by hand. I do gaff fish but has to be well over the min size.

Oh where does the time go,
One day you are taking them home from the hospital,
Next thing you know, they are taking the boat with a few friends on a 2hr run, fishing all day up close with a bunch of other boats, then making the 2hr run back to Boston and dropping their catch off at the fish pier.
