Any Bass in Narragansett Bay ?

Been in Maine for 2 weeks. Don't figure the bass are where I left them 2 weeks ago.

Have they gone deep yet?

Any tips appreciated.

They're there,I can't just can't seem to hook up with them.Lotsa

Blues typically invade the bay each August and while there maybe bass, you're going to have to wade through the blues to get to them.
A better bet is the Rhody oceanfront close to deeper water. The mouth of the bay, etc.

and joe, i went to newport once, but with my family for beach. i dont see any spot to fish there. what about the providence?

There are places to fish in Newport but my Newport parking pass got stolen out of my truck....
(I guess I should be grateful because in Providence, they would have stolen the whole truck. )
I've got places to go but I don't want to get too specific online - I can't take you to any spots Iron Mike showed me because I said would not and I don't make a practice of pissing anyone off who has an "Iron" prefix to their name.
I don't return to fishing the bay until the water temps start to go down a little.

joe, i think that u misunderstood me and i didnt make it clear. i just want the general area, something that's away from the beaches that's a public swimming.
maybe it's better if i find an available night and hire u to guide me around the rhody. no specific stuffs. anyway, did u recieve my email?
