Tomorrow, not too much. Getting the gear ready for fishing with paliaso in two weeks. Hoping the outcome is good, cause if it's not, I think I'm swearing off deep sea bottom fishing for good.
Sunday I get to cross an item off the bucket list. Going to see Bob Mould. I figure if Husker Du is the all-time long shot for bands that won't get back together, then I should go see Bob once.
I also have a couple of job prospects that I'm waiting to hear from today. And, I got a survey from Mass Unemployment saying something was brought to their attention that may challenge my benefits. I swear if this is my old company f(*^ing with me, I'm going to have my lawyer put something in for harassment. I haven't worked for those guys for what I thought was the last 6 weeks, so I have no idea what they could provide to unemployment that might get me ganked.
On hold now for 38 minutes to try to see what the major malfunction is.
Anyway, I digress. Have fun everyone.

Were you given a severance package when they let you go?

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

Nope, not one cent.
I found out (after being on hold for 90 minutes), that they need to run through my docs, which I uploaded anyway, to transition me from the bogus leave of absence that work said that they gave to me to regular unemployment.
It all worked out ok.

Swap out snowblower for lawn mower, Halts with crabgrass preventer, loam and seed on top of the crabgrass preventer. Rest of the weekend is getting daughter off to airport. She begins eight week training with American for FA position. Good training program. Also known as the "Charm Farm". She jumped through the hoops and got the offer, so very proud of her. A little finishing school in the south should shed any of the bohemian art school student she has left.... Good benefits and a job that will allow her to pursue her art career!

Watching my 7 year old play his first baseball game, then my 5 year old play his first T-ball game.
Then i will come home and wonder how yet another winter has come and gone without getting my garage in order!
