Bluefish
There was a pretty decent striper bite going on until this bluefish came along, grabbed my lure and ran with it. It was all big bluefish for the rest of the night.

Saw 16 to 18# Blues in the North Rip last week at the Block...from shore!!!

I didn't catch a blue over 3 pounds this year. Would have loved to run into a school of those.
Everything is better on the rocks.

Nice fish went out yesterday some action just outside they bay went to PJ for albies another day of short feeds spread over 3 football fields went back to newport cast at some albies but their tight lipped .. found some schoolies and 1 huge school of the only bait i have seen small long translucent minnows unmolested
