Thank you SaltHeart and #^^^^^^^^^^^&.
I was sick of getting my butt kicked on the boat so I bought some waders and headed for the beach. Saturday night-SKUNK. Today, Sunday 3pm, 1 nice bass landed and 1 LARGE breakoff. I would like my purple/black #^^^^^^^^^^^& 2.5 oz. needle that is stuck in the mouth of a very hungry bass returned ASAP. 36" bass fillet in the oven as I type this, oregano, garlic, basil, olive oil and tomatoes... yum. I will post pics. later.
Just a word of thanks to 2 craftsman from this board:
Saltheart, the rod you built for the auction pulled me away from the flyrod this year and I have caught many nice fish (from my boat-that don't count) as well as the fish I caught today on the beach. I really miss surf fishing, today was truely awesome. I think I might save some GAS and play in the surf for the next few weeks.
#^^^^^^^^^^^&-great plugs. I have boated a lot of great fish w/ the dozen plugs
you donated to the auction. I think the needles are my favorite, they just move so well in the waves. These plugs remind me of the plugs we used w/my grandfather. Wood rocks!! Thanks again.
Bruce

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

Sorry about the plugz, I got a couple-few this summer when Mikey and I were banging them up.
I been fishless for a while, though...I'm off lots o' weekdays if you want to go out any time.

Another boater turned surfcaster.Great....
only kidding.nice goin.there is something more natural about fishin fromn the surf. I fished out of boats an from shore my hole life.but i way prefer surfcasting. My brother doesn't understand it.I think the rewards are more gratifiying.learnig the nuances of surfcasting will also improve ur boating techniques.its all time on the water an thats the good thing.
nice goin.B

Nice Fish Parker23. Thanks for the positive feedback on the rod. As I remember , that was the Don M auction rod. I remember you made a generous bid on that rod for the fund raiser which was nice of you. that rod probably has good karma because of it.

Parker I have a few Sheriff poppers left but no more BP needles this year. If I had 500 more I could have sold every one already. I'm a little over 1800 bodies into next year already and no more paint runs this year at all. I've broken a bunch of stuff down and I'm in the middle of a MAJOR re-tooling for more automation right now and everything is being focused into this for the next 4-8 weeks.
There will be a number of changes next year.....and all VERY positive things to come.
