Shifting Sands

Don't know how big the surf was earlier this week, but the beaches my buddy and I walked last night have changed dramatically. There is about a six foot high ledge/wall that runs along all the beaches at the high water mak through Truro and the beaches are real shallow from mid tide to low water. Took a wrong step in the dark off it and ended up in a heap. Even where it looked like there should have been deep water in the "holes" between points, water was knee deep. Bahhhhh.
