My drive home from work yesterday....
On rt 24 north just before my exit..I see a women crawling on her belly.... partially in the breakdown lane and moving towards the travel lanes. No one is stopping....so I pull over and run over to her....she is moaning and saying she has been beaten and raped. I lifted her head off the hot asphalt and put an extra shirt I had under to keep her face from burning. Called 911 and waited for state trooper to arrive. She was incoherent..but saying help me over and over. To me she seemed under the influence of drugs...and her general appearance indicated to me she was living a hard life...possibly a prostitute /addict...just my gut feeling. I left the scene after the police arrived ....left me a little shook up and sad.

Wow, ya that would have left most people shook up.
You did the right thing
I'm sure she was able to get help but that sure is sad. Some people suck but most people are good.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Thanks Ray! We all re-act to situations differently, and things happen so fast, instinct takes over. I learned empathy from my mom, and to do whats right from my dad.
