Gilly , I,ve been catching them for years .just more now .
a lot of times when you hear a fisherman say .Tom Cod they actually are catching these , most have never seen a Tom Cod .
Gale caught one a couple of weeks ago I should have measured . It was much larger than the normal ones .
The dealers will buy them But I usually only get one or two .
Hope ia all well …...still buying & selling houses ><><

First time for me, just knew it was a carpet muncher...
Whenever I think kingfish, I think mackerel family..long & toothy??, but live & learn, Thanks Derek!
Last time I remember targeting tommy-cod, guessing 40 years ago when my godfather used to take me to westport and we'd bait for em' with clam-nex. Catch more cold than anything else, as we'd go during winter months...but the memories' still there,...seems it's all we got as we age.
You keep doin whatever you'rd doin to stay on this side of the grass Mikey, old salties are hard to come by.

Unless you're a resident and PAY for a parking pass....you're not parking there no more. It's policed pretty heavily too....
However, I've learned that if you speak many tongues, you can have someone drop you and 5 other people off in a minivan and have them pick you up later on, after you're done poach, errr....I mean fishing
