Refrigerator
My refrigerator works as it has for almost 26 years.
It used to be white but the years of being scrubbed have taken their toll.
Other than that 1 shelf support broke years ago and was replaced with a piece of wood.
Considering a new one need recommendations on brand.
It’ll be a 36” French door, need ice but not water, stainless.
Other than that don’t care too much but I’d just as soon never have to buy another.
Not sure that the next one should be another Kenmore.
If a new one lasts as long as this one, I’ll be 96.

Thanks
Interesting that when I look at ads, they rarely say where they are made
Whirlpool has one that looks interesting, I want one without gadgets in the door.

2 years before I remodeled my kitchen I bought a GE as a temp until I redo the kitchen, then it was going in the basement to be an overflow/spare. I remodeled the kitchen 3 years ago now and this fridge has been awesome, she loves it and don't want to put it down stairs as our spare. French type doors, freezer on one side fridge on the other. It does have an ice maker and water dispenser.

8 year old Samsung, came with the place. Side by side fridge and freezer, just from eyeballing, looks about 36" across. No issues so far.

Been happy with my GE fridge that we bought about 5 years ago. But not a french door model. We wanted side-by-side, just our preference. I'd suggest going to Lowes and Home depot and best buy and any other appliance stores near you and just poking around. There are an insane amount of features that may or may not be included from one model to the next.

I have a side by side and don’t want another
I’m going to buy it from a local place rather than a big box
My wife bought a freezer from Home Depot first year of Covid and the tstat didn’t work it was too low
After months they finally got it to stop beeping, but I think all they did was disconnect the alarm.
I’d have bought it from a local shop that I’ve bought tons of appliances from but they didn’t have any and…
