Hello Gentleman, its been a while since I have posted but sometimes life gets in the way. We have sold our property in RI and I have two mowers that I hate to get rid of but I don't have a choice. They are older and need work. They ran when we stopped using them about 10 years ago. The first is a 72" Locke three reel mower. The other is a Milbradt single reel mower. I believe it is a 42". These are great old machines and if you have a large lawn they will cut down on your mowing time. I am just throwing this out there as if they don't go, they will be scrapped. They are located in Charlestown. Your grass will be the best looking grass in the neighborhood. They actually cut the grass. They use Locke mowers at the White House!

Dayem! Reel mowers are the best, and the Lockes are the Cadillacs of reel mowers. Memories of running them in my teens. Wish I had the property to justify getting it. Put out a couple calls for you. If this were a car it would be like someone offering you a Cobra Jet Mustang they had sitting in their barn.......
Any pics?

Hi NF! Hope you are well. I don't have any pics but they have been always kept in a garage so they are in pretty good shape for their age! They are incredible machines and leave a cut like no other. You can make the lawn look like Fenways grass! I always envisioned restoring them to like new when I retired but that just isn't in the cards any more. I would love to see some one put them to use.
