Bomber Inspired Darters

I catch a lot of bass on Bombers... it's my go to plug and I'd much rather be catching fish on something I made... and so the bomber/darter was born. I was gonna swim test them today but... the water got stiff so I tried it in the tub... they wanna wiggle but have not got enough room... so I'll have to wait. Top one is wonderbread but the flash hid that they are both around 6" made of AYC and thru-wired don't know the weight.

Hopefully they swim we shall see.

When I take them off the lathe, they look like a small bell with a long handle. THen I cut some excess off three sides with a band saw. I made a pattern for the lip portion and cut that out too. After that I sand them down to smooth. There is a little weighting involved too but I'm not sure if it's right yet... damn ice!
