Very nice CS! Have you tried the #2 Spro swivels? I switched to them on my needles, and love them.

could ya be more specific,, I was womdering if you were going to use cut hooks or the split rings.., If you like the barrel swivel tight to belly for looks, or if you keep your hook tight to belly also . thanks ..

I like to keep the hooks as tite to the belly as I can get. I don't like them swinging in the breeze like a cows utter.....I have no problems with a cut hook on plugs. I keep a loose drag.

my thought is the hook hole in the plug is put in a spot where it belongs. if you put a swivel in that hangs way down an then a split ring then the hook. the hook winds up in the back of the plug an no where near the hole where it belongs.

Nice needles I'm guessing the taper at the front, with the bulb at the back gives them a little wiggle in current.

CS, have you tried a link of toilet chain? I don't know how strong they really are but I remember reading an article on plug building somewhere and that's what they used. Just a thought...

Hangers

How about squashing different size split rings to an oval and use them as hangers?

I have made my own hangers-paperclip style usin 1/16" wire- when my swivels were not long enough and also when swivels are too long.
