if you were any closer I'd give you my old one. I bought it when I was doing my roof on my house. CertainTeed Presidential shingles is what I used, what a PIA to cut, hence the shingle shear.

I did 100s of roofs back in the day and never used anything but a good razor knife and large speed square. You just scribe them and bend and break on the scribe. Use a hook blade to cut off your ends after the installation. Careful cutting valleys...

Ahhh...the old shingle cutter. I have been building for over 25 years and NEVER used anything but....wait for it........yup, a paper cutter! The old school type with the wood square around 18" x 18" Best cutter you will ever use and compared to the $300 for the actual shingle cutter these are found at yard sales for $5 to $15. I buy as many as I can get my hands on.
