Who killed the Constitution.

Those who think the Constitution should be ignored may enjoy this:

I don't know if you, or Spence, or PaulS actually listened to the video which is the subject of this thread, but if you did, you would know that it is supported by the article by Mona Charen that you've posted here.

The bulk of your article excoriates Obama and the Democrats for simply ignoring the Constitution and doing whatever they wanted to do. It's last, little paragraph is a question wondering if Republicans who support Trump will do the same thing. But the article was written before Trump was elected. So far, Trump has not made the Constitution irrelevant. And he is appointing originalist judges to the various Supreme Court benches.

But many Republicans are, or tend toward, Progressivism. You guys on the left (Democrat or Republican) have been warned that if you insist on handing the federal government more and more power, there will come a time when it will result in some administration coming to the power you allowed it to gather, and which will wield power over us that you won't like. And we'll be lucky if the only objection we have is that we don't like it.

To be fair I thought the Charen bit was quite wacky also. I don't think Pete really read it.
