Most of the eyes I use have an adhesive in the back. I like to put them in before I apply the epoxie, it holds them in well and I think makes for a more streamlined finish.

Do you use the flat "sticker" eyes or molded plastic or glass eyes?

Hopefully inside a week and a half, gotta turn a bunch more before I begin sealing, priming and painting. Figure if I am gonna break out all that stuff, I want to have about 20 plugs ready to roll.

Wink Ain't it the truth....

Into this new gig for I would guess about....$600.00 so far and I don't have one done quite yet! But I love it and they are coming along better than I could have hoped at this early stage. I will hopefull have some pics posted by next weekend. Then I will have to make more so I can fish them because I will have to keep the first 20 to stare at!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Could be worse. I hung all the plugs I made this winter from a yardstick nailed above my office window. My wife thinks it looks cool and doesn't want me to fish any of them!

Bigfish and BBJake------> Uh-huh! I hear you....

Even worse, last night, I'm gluing eyes, phone rings, run up, answer it, talk, hang up... wife asks WTH ya doing, show her the plug in my hand and go back down cellar... youngest kid comes in the door hollering Dad! Wife says, "He's down cellar playing with his plug!Oldest kid just about pisses hisself from laughin'...
No respect at all, I tell ya!
